dpreview tests the Panasonic G1

The first digital camera in the Micro Four Thirds line has just received its most high profile review ever. And it took a total of four dpreview reviewers to deliver the review, including heavyweights Simon Joinson and Phil Askey!

This is a 34-page technical evaluation, with conclusions on page #33. The commentary there, and the list of pros and cons is long, but in the end, the camera won over the reviewers enough to merit the highly coverted "Highly Recommended".

Trusted technology site Trusted Review is a frequent reviewer of digital cameras, and the G1 did not escape their attention! Cliff Smith put it under the microscope (so to speak) and he is sharing his findings with the rest of us out there.

Pop Photo tests the Panasonic G1

Philip Ryan has posted his three page test of the Panasonic G1 at the website of the Popular Photography magazine. This is a short magazine-style review, but they also have their lab test results on page #3, using the now familiar lab-test block used by PopPhoto's reviews.
