Serious Compacts Panasonic GF1 two month report (and new M43 forum)

After spending two quality months with the Panasonic GF1, Serious Compacts has published their findings on this camera. They also compare it to the GF1 and G1, and point out a number of interesting points that other photographers out there may find of interest before or after the buy the camera.

UPDATE Dec-15: Serious Compacts has just launched a brand new M43rds-centric photography forum, mu-43.com. The forum kicks off with a photography contest with three prizes, the grand prize being $100 cash.

Olympus E-P1 review by Neo

No, not Matrix's Neo, but NeoCamera - they have posted a review of the Olympus E-P1 using their unique and colorful review format. Be sure to also check the ISO comparison page where it is squared off against the GF1 and the K-7. They also offer full-size sample pictures.

Panasonic GH1 review at PDN

Don't you forget about me sings the Panasonic GH1 as it now gets a brand new review at the PDN Gear Guide blog. This is an experiential-type review, so do not expect charts and graphs and other dpreviewalia.

The GH1 has been dropping in price the last few days. As of the time of writing, the best prices are $1320 at Vanns.com and $1340 at Amazon.

Olympus 14-42mm review at SLR Club

Korean mega-site SLRClub.com has published their findings on the Olympus 14-42mm lens. This is the lens that is included in the standard kits. [via Foto Act.]
