Critically-acclaimed lens review site Photozone.de has just published their Olympus 9-18mm wide zoom review. This is a compact-zoom lens from Olympus. The "base" camera for their testing was the Panasonic GF1 [reviews].

The Olympus M-Zuiko 9-18mm lens has just received a new high-profile review, this one is coming from SLR Gear, the lens review arm of Imaging Resource! As usual, we won't spoil their findings here.

The lens is set to start shipping on May 6 for $700 at Amazon.

This lens is not shipping yet, it is in pre-order status for $700, while the Panasonic alternative is currently shipping but for $1000.
