There is a new photographer-priority review of the Panasonic GH1 with the 14-140mm MegaOIS lens published at Thew's Reviews. The photographer shares his experience with the camera, and also explains why he got the GH1 despite all the excitement over the GF1.
Don't you forget about me sings the Panasonic GH1 as it now gets a brand new review at the PDN Gear Guide blog. This is an experiential-type review, so do not expect charts and graphs and other dpreviewalia.
The GH1 has been dropping in price the last few days. As of the time of writing, the best prices are $1320 at Vanns.com and $1340 at Amazon.
Sandwiched between the G1 and GF1, and plagued by supply-issues in some markets, the Panasonic GH1 reminds everyone that it is still alive with a brand new review at Photocrati by Peter K. Burian. This is an experiential review, with web-size samples and video-clip samples at Vimeo. As usual, no spoilers here.
One more review is in the books for the Panasonic GH1 which seems to be catching its second wind these days. The brand new review is posted by Cliff Smith at Trusted Reviews. This is using their standard format, with the conclusions on page #3, and samples starting on page #5 with ISO talk radio.
It is apparently Panasonic review day today on the internets! Mason Resnick at the Adorama Learning Center (ALC) has posted his review of the Panasonic GH1. This is a photographer-priority review, with conclusions at the bottom. No spoilers here :)
Of interest, the reviewer is using the golden body-color which is not available in the US market as far as we know. Does this mean the golden body is coming? Adorama's own website only has the black GH1 and it's on backorder.
PC World has just posted their take on the Panasonic GH1, in a short single page review. There are no samples or but there is a graph with lots of numbers accurate to a decimal point even though they are based on a panel of judges, not actual measurements. Oh dear :)
Another day, another Micro Four Thirds review, a testament perhaps to the increasing popularity of this emerging new format. The latest review is coming from Photography Bay and it includes night-time and ISO comparison crops!
It looks like it is game-time for the Panasonic GH1, as the reviews are starting to come in at a faster pace, seven hundred years after the camera's announcement ;-)
Just posted is a brand new review at Digital Camera Review, a website that is a part of a network of technology review websites. Their reviews used to have a one-giant-page format, but now they have switched to a three-page format. Included are ISO comparisons, pigs (!), and more. Conclusions are on page #3
(Please note that they use roadblock-ads, so if this is your first visit, you may see a full-page ad before you can proceed to the review.)
